G'day
and welcome to the official site for Heritage Restored. These pages
will fill in much of the background information on the novel and give
you a chance to comment on the book. As an author I invite comments on
my work, most of us have developed a thick hide over the years and can
take a lot of punishment!
Heritage Restored is my first novel and was originally penned as a series of short stories in 1996. Since then it has grown into a full blown novel. It has been submitted to the Opus Magnum Discovery Awards 1997 and received a Certificate of Merit. Since then some of the short stories have been published in various anthologies. It is due in part to such positive feedback as mentioned above as well as comments from my various readers who urged me to "publish this" that I have settled on the e publishing route. This medium gives me the freedom to express my creativity and simply write what I feel rather than bow to the whims of a publisher. This novel is an outpouring of the spirit, a chance to say all those things I've wanted to say for years but dared not for fear I would be ridiculed or singled out. I am not a preacher or moralist, simply an ordinary human being who cares about the world we live in and wants to make a difference. The stories have already made a difference to the way some of my readers perceive the world and brought healing to others. it is hoped they will do the same for you.
