HOMEG'day and welcome to my site!This website is simply a showcase for my work, much of which has been published in some form, whether print or electronic. I've been writing for as long as I can remember but really only got serious from about 1996 onwards and it became a serious obsession, to the point I am often forced to stop writing to do other things, like answer emails! I remember one of the rules taught to me at college, 'write what you know,' and while this is a good starting point, at the time I felt it a little limited, after all, how many ways can you describe your own belly button, house, neighbourhood, town, before you run out of words? I think from then on I decided that while it was okay to write what you know, it was also perfectly valid to write what you didn't want to know or wanted to know more about. Over the years I've written in many different genres and I guess that is what makes me unique, I don't care whether it's crime, sci fi, fantasy, romance, erotica or plain old vanilla articles. Any form of writing is just another challenge for me. On this site you'll find many different types of writing. Please be warned if you're under age that some of the stories contain adult concepts. I don't write for children in other words! Feel free to browse and download the stories and articles, it's free to download and I don't care how many times it's downloaded. Enjoy! Alastair Rosie
